The Nebraska men's tennis team completed their fourth and final day of competition at the ITA Central Regional Championships in Norman, Okla., on Sunday.
The Huskers completed exclusively in consolation singles matches on Sunday, and won over half (six of 11) of their matches on the day.
Patrick Cacciatore led NU by registering two victories, first defeating Wichita State's Alex Richards, 6-0, 6-1, before handing Daniel Siddall of Tulsa a 6-2, 6-4 loss.
Freshmen Shunya Maruyama (7-5, 6-1 over Finley Hall (Drake)), Andre Saleh (6-4, 7-6(5) over Barny Thorold (Drake)) and Chester Wickwire (6-4, 2-6, 1-0 [8] over Freddie Powell (Drake)) each collected one victory apiece, as did senior Chris Dean with a 5-2 win over Drake's Luka Jakovic, who retired from the match.
