Huskers Complete Day One of All-American Tournament

Tulsa, Okla.- The Nebraska men's tennis team had six individuals compete in Tulsa for the ITA All-American Tournament.

Senior William Gleason captured the lone win for the Huskers as he knocked off UTSA's Javier Gonzalez 5-7, 6-2 [20-18]. The Lincoln, Neb. native lost in the second round to Oral Robert's Volodymyr Zakharov 6-4, 6-3.

Junior Shunya Maruyama came close to winning his matchup, losing nearly by a score of 6-0, 2-6 [11-9].

In their first matches of the fall, seniors Dario Huber and Brandon Perez lost in consecutive sets.
