Austin, Texas -- The Nebraska men's tennis team (2-7, 0-0 Big Ten) fell short of the #5 Texas Longhorns (8-2, 0-0 Big 12) on Sunday afternoon in Austin.
Sophomore, Patrick Cacciatore scored the only point for the Huskers, and he did so in commanding fashion. He took the point in a 6-1, 7-5 victory over Eshan Talluri. Cacciatore, the Tampa, Fla. native, captured his second singles win of the spring.
The Huskers began the day facing off against the Longhorns in doubles competition. At the No.1 spot the #13 duo in the country of Christian Sigsgaard and Yuya Ito defeated Albert Sprlak-Puk and Andre Saleh, 6-2.
