Huskers Come Up Short Against Terps

Lincoln - Andrew White III led four Huskers in double figures, but it was not enough as Nebraska fell to No. 4/3 (AP/Coaches) Maryland by a score of 70-65 in front of 15,693 fans at Pinnacle Bank Arena on Wednesday.

White led NU with 19 points and nine rebounds and Shavon Shields added 11 points for the Big Red. Glynn Watson Jr. and Michael Jacobson both poured in 10 points to help the Husker attack.

Nebraska forced 18 Maryland turnovers, but the Terrapins held a 43-35 advantage on the boards and held the Huskers to just 32 percent shooting.
