Ann Arbor, Mich. – The Nebraska soccer team (3-8-2, 2-4-0 Big Ten) concluded its weekend trip with a 4-1 loss to No. 24 Michigan at U-M Soccer Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The Huskers outshot the Wolverines (9-3-1, 4-1-1 Big Ten) by a 14-12 margin and held a 4-3 edge in corner kicks, but Michigan scored two goals in each half behind an 11-6 advantage in shots on goal for the game.
Michigan scored its first goal of the game in the 23rd minute when a corner kick found Samantha DeVecchi at the top of the box.
