The Nebraska beach volleyball team closed the season with a 1-2 day on Friday at Irvine Valley College in Irvine, California.
The Huskers (4-14) swept Concordia-Irvine to start the day and then finished with a 5-0 loss to No. 5 Long Beach State and a 3-2 loss to host Irvine Valley College.
Two Husker pairs went 2-1 on the final day. Annika Albrecht and Kenzie Maloney, at No. 2 pair, posted wins against Concordia and Irvine Valley. Allie Havers, who closed her remarkable three-sport Husker career, and Jasmine Schmidt also posted two wins at No. 5.
