Huskers' Carter receives Big Ten weekly honors

The senior scored three goals in the final 16 minutes of the Huskers' 4-3 come-from-behind overtime win against Indiana on Thursday. It was the 34th hat trick in program history.

Carter leads the Huskers with seven goals, which is also tied for the most by an individual in the Big Ten. Her 15 points rank second on the team and fifth in the conference.

Carter, an Omaha Marian graduate, is playing in her first and only season with the Huskers. She transferred after two seasons at TCU.

Nebraska (7-3-2, 3-0-1 Big Ten), which is ranked 18th in the RPI rankings, will play at Penn State on Thursday and at Ohio State on Sunday.
