The Huskers scored one of their bigger victories of the recruiting cycle, locking up a commitment late Wednesday night from Matt Farniok.
The 6-foot-5, 320-pound prospect from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, had been long recruited by this staff, but also thought highly of Iowa and Michigan State.
The offensive tackle had visited Iowa last weekend, in fact, but an in-home visit Wednesday from Husker head coach Mike Riley, offensive coordinator Danny Langsdorf and O-line coach Mike Cavanaugh sealed the deal.
Tweeted Farniok: "Thank you to everyone that recruited me but I am excited to announce I will be a Nebraska Cornhusker!
