Huskers battle back to to open Big Ten play with win at Indiana

A big night from Ben Miller and a big shot from Luis Alvarado lifted the Nebraska baseball team to a 7-3 road win over Indiana on Friday night in the Huskers' Big Ten Conference opener.

With the game tied at 3-3, Scott Schreiber snuck a double inside the first-base bag to give NU runners at second and third with one out after Jake Meyers reached on a fielder's choice.

Miller followed with an RBI single to right to put the Huskers up 4-3, and Alvarado greeted Indiana reliever B.J. Sabol with a three-run home run to right to give Nebraska a 7-3 lead.
