Three Husker freshmen - Ally Batenhorst, Lindsay Krause and Lexi Rodriguez - are among the 12 members of Team USA competing at the FIVB U20 World Championship in Europe this month.
Round-robin pool play will unfold over the first three days of competition from July 9 through July 11. The United States' pool includes Turkey, Russia and Thailand.
The pool winners and the pool runners-up will continue in two new pools to be played in the Netherlands while the remaining eight teams form two pools in Belgium. The matches in the four second-round groups will take place July 13-15.
