The Nebraska football team added 41 student-athletes to its 2020 roster on Wednesday during the December early signing period, including 22 scholarship signees and 19 walk-ons. More future Huskers could be added during the next signing period that runs from Feb. 5 to April 1, 2020.
The scholarship class consists of 14 high school student-athletes and five junior-college transfers. The class hails from 13 different states, including seven signees from Florida. Multiple recruits also signed from Texas, Alabama and Kansas. The class combined to win 12 state titles during their prep careers.
19 of the 22 walk-ons are from the state of Nebraska, with the other three walk-ons coming from Iowa, Michigan and Germany.
