The Nebraska wrestling team opens the 2017-18 season with Sunday's Daktronics Open in Brookings, South Dakota.

The Huskers will take their full team to the tournament, which begins at 9 a.m.

Sunday's tournament will also be key in helping NU coach Mark Manning and staff set its dual lineup, with the season- and home-opening dual Nov. 17 against Wyoming at the Devaney Center.

Nebraska, which opens the season at No. 15 in NWCA preseason poll, returns just two NCAA qualifiers from last year. Tyler Berger was an All-American via his fifth-place finish at 157 pounds, while Colton McCrystal is set to move up from 141 to 149 this season.
