Three Nebraska gymnasts posted career highs to key the Huskers to a convincing win Saturday at the Big Five meet in Columbus, Ohio.
Husker freshmen Danielle Breen and Megan Schweihofer both had career-best 9.925s on the balance beam to tie for the event title. Breen then won the all-around title with a career-high tying score of 39.475.
The Huskers posted a season-high on the beam (49.375) and totaled 197.000 points to reach 197 for a second straight week. Nebraska won or tied for event titles in every event except vault, where Hollie Blanske and Jennie Laeng both tied for second with 9.
