The No. 16 Nebraska women's gymnastics team vaulted to a fast start with season-best scores on vault and uneven bars on Sunday at the Masters Classic.
The Huskers couldn't quite keep the high-pitched momentum going, but did post a season-high 197.175 at the Devaney Sports Center.
Taylor Houchin posted a career-best 9.975 to win the vault, where the Huskers started with a 49.475. That carried over to bars, where Abbie Epperson and Sienna Crouse both posted 9.9s to tie for second.
