Husker women gymnasts close the door with a season-high floor performance

The Nebraska women's gymnastics team has standard practice to not scoreboard watch what its opponent is doing in a meet.

It's a simple practice designed to keep the focus inward, but even though they aren't looking directly at the scoreboard, a gymnast can't help but catch a number or two in her peripheral vision from time to time.

Consider that a little bit of the case as the No. 9 Huskers were going into their final rotation of floor exercise Saturday against No. 22 Minnesota at the Devaney Sports Center.

It was no idle boast, as Schweihofer anchored the Huskers with a 9.
