Husker sophomore Stille moving back to defensive line

After all, the former Ashland-Greenwood standout began his 2017 redshirt freshman campaign there under former defensive coordinator Bob Diaco before moving to outside linebacker and becoming one of the few defensive bright spots during a 4-8 campaign.

Under Nebraska's new coaching staff, Stille is moving back to the front lines, he confirmed to the Journal Star on Friday afternoon.

Stille, who is listed at 6-foot-5 and 255 pounds on the school's website, has spent the seven weeks of winter conditioning with head strength coach Zach Duval bulking up and said he's put on about 20 pounds.

Stille said the weight room transition's been smooth for him, as he regularly worked out with Duval's brother, Gibbie, at Xplosive Edge even before the new staff arrived here.
