Even though it’s softball season, and it’s officially spring, temperatures hit below 40 during Game 2 of 3 against the Purdue Boilermakers this weekend. The fans that were there definitely looked cold with all of their blankets that they were bundled in.

After Saturday’s big 13-1 win, the Huskers were confident coming into today’s game as they looked to take another win from the Boilermakers at home.

Both starting pitchers today were taking the mound for the first time this weekend. Hannah Camenzind got the start for the Huskers. She last played on March 22nd and pitched 4.
