After opening Big Ten play this past weekend, the Nebraska softball team pivots back for a mid-week nonconference game to host South Dakota on Tuesday at Bowlin Stadium.
The Coyotes (13-20) have won five of their last six, in large part due to the contributions of catcher Jessica Rogers. The Lincoln Southwest graduate, who has been named Summit League player of the week two consecutive weeks, returns to her home city leading South Dakota with eight home runs and 28 RBIs while batting .349 with a .686 slugging percentage.
The Huskers (23-10) went 2-1 against Minnesota in the season's opening weekend of Big Ten Conference play.
