Husker seniors take winding roads to Lincoln, hope to leave legacy

Four men, four backgrounds, four roads, all leading to Lincoln.

All four of the seniors the Nebraska men's basketball team will honor Sunday are transfers. None has spent four years in Lincoln. They came from North Carolina and Ohio, Florida and Georgia, all wanting a chance, and all finding their niche in this season of revival for the Huskers.

Evan Taylor, Anton Gill, Duby Okeke and Malcolm Laws will flash their million-dollar grins before the game for what promises to be one of the wildest Pinnacle Bank Arena crowds in the past three seasons. The game, of course, is critical — Nebraska likely must beat Penn State and win again at the Big Ten Tournament to give itself a shot at the Huskers' stated goal of reaching the NCAA Tournament.
