Lincoln – The Nebraska basketball team closed the book on the 2014-15 season with the annual team banquet this week. The event featured the annual team awards voted on by the Husker players, including the announcement of the Jack Moore MVP Award, which was presented to Terran Petteway.
The award is named for late Husker guard Jack Moore, a 5-9 playmaker who set 17 school records in a career that ended in 1982. Moore was presented with the 1982 Francis Pomeroy-Naismith Award as the best collegiate player in the nation under six feet tall.
