Nebraska's basketball players wanted to do something.
They weren't sure what. And as of Friday afternoon, they were still working through their plans.
But the message the Huskers projected to the world beginning Thursday night was clear.
"I think it just represents the message to spread love. We’re all human. Whether you play basketball, whether you’re just a normal student, we’re all human and we all feel the same emotions," Evan Taylor said Friday. "Nobody ever wants to feel unsafe or feel like they aren’t loved, so spread love. Hate will never win in this world.
