News flash: Nebraska lacks size. Tim Miles wasn’t able to find a 7-foot, back-to-the-basket center to fill a still-vacant scholarship. Those players aren’t exactly a dime-a-dozen to begin with, but then throw in the fact that Miles won’t take just any 7-foot player, and you have a tough situation.
So the search continues for the 2016 recruiting class. Miles wants an offensive anchor in the middle, but also somebody agile and mobile enough to fit his defensive system, particularly against the screen-and-roll.
