Nebraska head coach Tim Miles talks to his bench as the Huskers take on Wisconsin in the second half on Tuesday at Pinnacle Bank Arena.
FRANCIS GARDLER, JOURNAL STARNebraska head coach Tim Miles on Monday reiterated his faith in sophomore center Jordy Tshimanga and outlined his reasons for staying with him in the starting lineup.
Tshimanga had a clear size advantage against Wisconsin freshman forward Nate Reuvers on Tuesday night and the Huskers made a point of feeding him early in the game.
The problem: Tshimanga picked up two fouls by the 16:22 mark of the first half, the second on a charge, and had to sit for nearly 10 minutes.
