Replaced in the starting lineup by Anton Gill against Illinois, Taylor responded with 13 points. Against Michigan, Taylor came off the bench for five points while pulling down a team-high seven rebounds and adding three steals in 27 minutes.
He also sparked Nebraska's defense in the first half with a head-first dive to corral a loose ball and force a Michigan turnover.
The 20-point loss wish Michigan's largest this season, surpassing a 15-point defeat at North Carolina, and the margin of defeat since December 8, 2015 at No. 19 SMU in an 82-58 loss, and the most lopsided loss to an unranked team since March 15 2007 when Florida State beat the Wolverines 87-66 in the second round of the NIT.
