Sophomore guard Thomas Allen went from four star, top-100 recruit in the nation and the player of the year in his prep school league to, in his words, being "humbled" last season as he sat behind more experienced players on Nebraska's roster.
Now a starter, Allen has already begun to flash the ability that made him such an important pickup last season. He finished with 10 points, five assists, three steals and two rebounds Sunday at Pinnacle Bank Arena against Southeastern Louisiana.
"He's getting better every day," said teammate and fellow Raleigh, North Carolina, native Isaac Copeland.
