Fritz fills the vacancy left by former Fremont Bergan and Colorado State standout Wes Eikmeier, who recently completed his two-year run as graduate manager and is now entering law school.
Fritz comes to Nebraska after playing collegiately at NCAA Division II Missouri Southern for the past three seasons for under Kansas great Jeff Boschee. As a senior, Fritz played in 24 games as Missouri Southern went 20-10 in 2017-18, finished second in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Assocation and reached the 2018 NCAA Tournament.
In his three seasons at the school, Fritz helped Missouri Southern to a combined 56-34 mark.
