Husker guard Harris likely to miss Big Ten tournament after suffering knee injury against Iowa

Nebraska freshman guard Amir Harris is likely to miss the Big Ten Tournament after suffering a knee injury against Iowa, the Huskers announced Monday.

Harris injured the meniscus in his his left knee at some point in the game against the Hawkeyes, playing through the injury to hit two clutch free throws near the end of regulation and make the game-winning layup in overtime.

An MRI Monday afternoon confirmed the injury. NU coach Tim Miles said Harris was on crutches Monday. The injury is yet another blow to a team that has been ravaged by injuries and suspensions this season.
