Husker commit Mills receives probation in Georgia for missing court

Mills, a Waycross, Georgia, native and Garden City (Kansas) Community College running back who verbally committed to the Huskers in September, turned himself in Dec. 14 to the Ware County Sheriff’s Department because the court issued a bench warrant after he had failed to appear in court previously, the Ware County Clerk of Courts confirmed to the Journal Star on Monday morning.
