No. 2 McKendree rolled past the top-ranked Husker bowling team again, this time winning 4-0 in the championship final Sunday of the Mid-Winter Invitational in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
McKendree defeated Vanderbilt 4-1 to determine which would face Nebraska in the championship. McKendree then swept the Huskers for the title, winning 209-201, 215-174, 192-185, 212-191.
Three Huskers finished in the top five and were named to the all-tournament team. Senior Kelly Belzeski won the individual portion of the tournament, sophomore Allison Morris finished second and sophomore Raquel Orozco took fourth. Nebraska finished the tournament with a pinfall of 13,426 and a 12-1 record.
