The top-ranked Nebraska bowling team is the top seed for the NCAA Championships, which are set for April 14-16 in North Brunswick, New Jersey.
Nebraska, the defending national champion, will be making its 13th straight NCAA appearance.
The other teams in the field are Arkansas State, Vanderbilt, Sam Houston State, Stephen F. Ausitn, McKendree, Central Missouri and North Carolina A&T.
The Huskers defeated Stephen F. Austin for the national title in 2015. NU also won NCAA titles in 20004, 2005, 2009 and 2013.
Sophomore Julia Bond, who was named the 2015 NCAA Championships most outstanding bowler, leads the Huskers with a 207.
