A NCAA rule change means the Nebraska baseball team will welcome a pair of regional opponents to Haymarket Park for fall exhibition games.
The Huskers will host Wichita State at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, September 22, and will host Kansas Saturday, October 6. Game time for the KU game is yet to be determined.
The NCAA this spring passed legislation that allows Division I programs to host up to two fall exhibition games without those games counting against a team's spring schedule.
Previously, if a team played fall exhibition games, those games did count against the 56-game spring schedule.
