The Huskers were scheduled to take on No. 12 Mississippi State at 11 a.m. in Frisco, Texas. Because of cold weather and travel restrictions both that game and the matchup between Texas Tech and Sam Houston State were canceled.
Nebraska (4-6) will return to Texas next weekend for a three-game series against Baylor in Waco. That series was originally scheduled for Lincoln before being moved because of Lincoln's ongoing winter.
Sunday's cancellation means the Huskers have had six of their first 15 games altered by weather. Tuesday's home opener against Omaha was postponed last week, and yesterday's loss to Sam Houston State was moved up two hours because of wet, cold weather in Texas.
