Oral Roberts did plenty of damage as they blew out Nebraska 11-4 on Tuesday in Tulsa, Oklahoma, but the Huskers inflicted plenty of wounds on themselves.
Nebraska pitchers walked eight batters on the night, and the Husker batters struck out 12 times at the plate. Each team stranded eight base runners.
Nebraska continued to hurt itself int he sixth inning, when it left two easy outs on the field, sparking the Golden Eagles (12-6) to score six runs and gain complete control of the game. Spencer Henson launched a three-run home run to cap the inning and stretch the lead to 11-2.
