Hoosiers make key late-game shots to edge Husker women

Guard Ali Patberg scored 22 points, and forward Kym Royster scored 19 points and had 14 rebounds to lead the Indiana women’s basketball team to an 82-78 victory against Nebraska on Sunday afternoon at Pinnacle Bank Arena.

The Hoosiers (17-6, 6-5 Big Ten) had a bad start shooting in the game, but got a lot better over the final three quarters and made big shots in the fourth quarter to get the win.

After Indiana took a 12-point lead in the third quarter, Nebraska rallied. The Huskers (10-12, 5-6) tied the game twice in the fourth quarter but could never retake the lead.
