Guard Ali Patberg scored 22 points, and forward Kym Royster scored 19 points and had 14 rebounds to lead the Indiana women’s basketball team to an 82-78 victory against Nebraska on Sunday afternoon at Pinnacle Bank Arena.
The Hoosiers (17-6, 6-5 Big Ten) had a bad start shooting in the game, but got a lot better over the final three quarters and made big shots in the fourth quarter to get the win.
After Indiana took a 12-point lead in the third quarter, Nebraska rallied. The Huskers (10-12, 5-6) tied the game twice in the fourth quarter but could never retake the lead.
