COLLEGE STATION, Texas - For the third day in a row, the Nebraska track and field team qualified two student-athletes for the NCAA Championships, bringing their three-day total to six qualifiers.
On Thursday, Michael Hoffer and Mayson Conner both finished in the top 12 in the high jump at the NCAA West Preliminary Round at E.B. Cushing Stadium to advance to the NCAA Championships in two weeks.
Hoffer, who qualified in the long jump on Wednesday, will now also compete in the high jump in Eugene, Oregon. Hoffer hit a new high jump personal best of 7-2 1/4 (2.
