With an 11 a.m. kickoff this week, Nebraska hosted a smaller group of recruits for the Troy game. There were no official visitors, according to 247Sports.
Among the group of unofficial visitors was Omaha Burke standout tight end/defensive end Chris Hickman, who also was at the Nebraska-Colorado game.
Hickman, one of the Huskers' top targets, helped lead top-ranked Omaha Burke to a 41-24 win against Omaha North on Friday night. Nebraska assistant coaches Barrett Ruud and Sean Beckton were seen standing on the sideline at Omaha Northwest's Kinnick Stadium.
Current Husker commitments Garrett Snodgrass (York), Grant Detlefsen (Lincoln Southeast) and Ethan Piper (Norfolk Catholic) were among those on the sideline prior to Saturday's game.
