Haskins provides biggest challenge yet for Husker pass defense

The chorus of Nebraska defensive coaches and players that talked after practice Tuesday morning all sang the same tune in regard to Ohio State’s dynamic sophomore quarterback.

Dwyane Haskins, everybody agrees, is the best quarterback the Huskers will face this year. He is surrounded by some of the best receivers on NU’s slate.

Haskins, the cannon-armed quarterback, has thrown a whopping 30 touchdowns and just five interceptions through eight games.

“He can make all the throws,” secondary coach Travis Fisher said. “He can be on the far hash and make a throw on the out cut.
