When Anton Gill received his scholarship release from Louisville last spring, he knew finding people he could trust would be of utmost importance in his search for a new school and basketball program.
Trust, you see, ranks high on Gill’s list of values.
“With trust, it’s so much easier to be the best you can be when you know people behind you believe in you. You feel so much better knowing the people behind you want the best for you, and that makes you work harder every day, and that makes you push yourself.”
So even though Gill said he’d never heard of Nebraska before taking a visit nearly a year ago, he was sold because he sensed a trust in coach Tim Miles.
