FRANCIS GARDLER, Journal StarGarrett Nelson has a burgeoning reputation in Nebraska football circles as something of a wild man.
Maybe, OK, certainly, the reckless abandon with which he played for Scottsbluff during his high school days plays a big role.
On Monday, Nelson -- along with the other four Husker verbal commits from the state and many other of Nebraska's best high school players -- braved the cold as both the Journal Star and Omaha World Herald took photos for postseason accolades, which are due out soon.
