San Francisco-- The city tours are over. The trip to Alcatraz has been made. The trinkets from Chinatown have been purchased. Game faces are being applied.
"I told them yesterday, 'Now's the time to stop walking around the city. Try to tone it down a little bit,'" said Husker coach Mike Riley. "So we're kind of now in our game mode."
Riley met with the media at the team hotel on Friday, his final Q&A with the press before Saturday night's Foster Farms showdown with UCLA at Levi's Stadium in nearby Santa Clara.
The day before a bowl game is much like the day before a season opener for a coach.
