1. Win the toss (or MSU defers). Nebraska’s scored a touchdown the past six times its started a game on offense. On those six drives, Adrian Martinez is 18-of-18 for 217 yards and NU is averaging 12 yards per play. Enough said.
2. Spread it around. The Huskers are going to have to find a way to get some people involved. At times Devine Ozigbo, Martinez, Stanley Morgan and JD Spielman have been enough in the playmaker department. But another one or two never hurts.
3. Ground gains. The Spartans have the nation’s top-ranked run defense but have also allowed three 100-yard rushers this season.
