Future Husker with Rahmir Johnson: Four-star recruit plays for one of the best high school teams in the country

This week: Bergan Catholic has a 1-0 record going into another game against an out-of-state team, Archbishop Wood of Warminster, Pennsylvania. The game will be played on Saturday afternoon at the Rutgers football stadium. Last week, Bergan Catholic traveled to Georgia to play Grayson, winning 34-22. Johnson rushed for 130 yards and two touchdowns. Bergan Catholic is ranked No. 5 in the USA Today national poll.

Rankings: A four-star recruit according to Rivals.com, Johnson is the No. 5 ranked all-purpose back in the country in the 2019 class.

First contact with the Huskers: “Around December, I had a player on my team that was being recruited by Nebraska and they talked to him a lot more, and then coach (Scott) Frost called and told me he was going to offer me a scholarship.
