Frosted Flakes: Hall of Fame, Spring Practice, and New Calves

Happy Wednesday! I am pretending it is spring here in Nebraska. We are in the middle of a three-day warm up. I’ll just pretend I don’t see the forecast for the weekend. It has been an exceptionally cold and wintery spring. Normally, I have plants in the garden by now, but not this year. There are spots where the soil is still frozen.

We also have our first two calves, one bull and one heifer. New calves are one of my favorite parts of ranch life. They are fun to watch playing in the pasture and napping in the grass.
