Building blocks, that’s how you can look at Saturday’s loss to Colorado.
There were a lot of high points and low points during the game. The offense had some it’s highest yards put up in years. On the flip side the line couldn’t make a hole on two different 4th and 1 situations.
The defense got in the Colorado backfield more times on Saturday that what seemed like the past three years combined. Yet, the secondary gave up some major yardage and scores that hurt the game for the Big Red.
This is going to be a growing pains type of year for Nebraska.
