Scott Frost has spent much of his first eight months at Nebraska restoring as many of the core values, methods and training tactics that prevailed at Memorial Stadium during his playing days and generally trying to bring back the model he thinks has the best chance of engendering success for the Huskers.
The first-year head coach on Thursday said the staff hadn’t yet decided exactly how captains would be chosen or what form the process would take.
“We’ll address that with the staff when we get close,” Frost said. “I want to make sure that the guys representing us on the field before the game are guys that have earned it and deserve it, and we’ll see how many we have before game one.
