Going to work on a Monday can be tough, but Nebraska outside linebackers coach Jovan Dewitt almost certainly loved it this week.
Husker head coach Scott Frost said on Jim Rome's radio show Monday afternoon that Dewitt, who's battled a form of throat cancer in recent months, was in his office earlier in the day and is starting to get back involved in the football program.
"Things look like they're going really well for him, so our prayers are with him and we're going to do everything we can for him," Frost said.
“It’s really a surreal process to realize that you are truthfully facing something that can kill you,” Dewitt said in March.
