Scott Frost can earn nearly $1 million in bonuses per season if he leads Nebraska to a national championship, and his new employer covered a multimillion dollar buyout fee to hire him away from Central Florida.
Frost's full contract, which was not signed until May 11, more than five months after he arrived in Lincoln, was released publicly for the first time Wednesday afternoon.
For instance, the Athletic Department paid Central Florida $3 million directly to cover Frost's buyout for leaving that school, authorizing the payment as "a reimbursable employee expense of (Frost)."
Frost is also eligible for 20 hours per year of private jet travel on either university-owned or university-arranged aircraft for he and his immediate family.
