Now, the Huskers' attention turns to Ohio State, a different animal, to say the least.
The No. 8 Buckeyes are coming off a bye week. They're also looking to erase the taste of defeat following a loss at Purdue on Oct. 13.
"There's no question they're a really talented team," Frost said at his Monday news conference. "I have not doubt we're going to get their best shot."
Saturday's matchup in the Horseshoe will be the Huskers' fourth road game of the season. That included games at Michigan (L 56-10) and at Wisconsin (L 41-24).
"We're growing, just like I said all year," Frost said of the defense.
