Early kickoff times certainly have their benefits, but the Nebraska football program – and Husker fans – probably would have liked to have seen a little more diversity in start time this fall, particularly at home.
NU’s lone home evening kickoff was Sept. 1 against Akron and that game never actually happened. Since then: A pair of 2:30 p.m. kickoffs and four 11 a.m. starts. The Huskers close their home slate again at 11 a.m. against Michigan State on Saturday and then play at 11 a.m. on Black Friday at Iowa.
Overall this season, Nebraska will have eight 11 a.
