Nebraska volleyball coach John Cook will be more prepared if his old golfing partner ever gives him a mulligan and lets him give another speech to the Nebraska football team.
Cook’s old golf buddy is none other than the head football coach, Scott Frost. During a Nebraska football practice last month, Frost asked Cook to speak to the team at the end of practice.
That’s a scene you won't see at every college: the football coach asking the volleyball coach to speak to the team. Of course, Cook isn’t just a volleyball coach. And Cook and Frost didn’t just meet when Frost became coach.
